It’s extracted from the dried seeds of the flax herb( Linum usitatissimum L.) of the Linaceae family. The active ingredient is Secoisolariciresinol Diglucoside( SDG) with brown yellow powder. SDG is considered to be phytoestrogens, which is very similar to human estrogens. It is found mainly in flax seed, and its content depends on flax variety, climate and ecological conditions.It has a preventive effect on estrogen-dependent diseases such as breast cancer, prostate cancer, menstrual syndrome and osteoporosis.
